Workshop Description:

The objective of this course is to guide physicians who are planning to start pleural effusion drainage under ultrasound guidance service in their institutions on how to evaluate suitability of their institutions and practice for such service and what are the basic requirements for successful and safe practice.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

    1. Demonstrate an understanding of the uses of ultrasound for pleural pathology treatment planning.
    2. Understand the techniques pleural biopsy and effusion drainage
