Harry Delis

Mr. Harry Delis is working in the IAEA (Dosimetry and Medical Radiation Physics Section, Division of Human Health) as a Medical Physicist in Diagnostic Radiology since 2012.

He is a medical physicist with an MSc and a PhD in Medical Physics and an MSc in Quality Assurance. Before joining the IAEA he was working in Greece, as a clinical medical physicist in medical imaging (diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine) for 10 years and teaching Physics and Medical Physics (Physics of Diagnostic Radiology, Quality Assurance, Radiation Protection and Shielding) on a graduate and post-graduate level.

He has more than 30 publication in international journals and 45 presentations in international conferences. His scientific and research interests are in the fields of Imaging Medical Physics, Dosimetry, Mammography, Quality Assurance, Monte Carlo Simulation, E & T in Medical Physics, Radiation Protection.

He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the EUTEMPE-RX project for training of Medical Physics Experts in Diagnostic Radiology.
