Course Aim

To evaluate the scientific basis of IMRT and IGRT, the technical aspects of treatment preparation and treatment delivery, the quality assurance (QA) of the various procedures, the latest developments in new IMRT irradiation modalities and the clinical aspects related to IMRT and IGRT.

Target Audience

The course is aimed at radiation oncologists, radiation physicists and radiation therapists involved in the implementation of advanced techniques in their department. Basic knowledge of radiation oncology and radiation physics are a prerequisite. Some experience in addition, of CT-based treatment planning will be an asset.
