Dr Sherlala qualified from the medical University in Tripoli Libya in 1986. He started his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom doing general medicine and obtained the MRCP in 1991 then started Radiology training and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College UK in 1996. He did his neuroradiology training in the biggest neuroscience centres in the United Kingdom at the Southern General Hospital Glasgow and at the National Hospital of neurology and neurosurgery, Queen Square London. He was appointed as a consultant Neuroradiologist in the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire in 1997 and now he is the lead Neuroradiologist in this institution. Dr Sherlala is a senior Neuroradiologist with vast experience in all aspects of neuroradiology and plays a major role in the Neuroradiology Training. He has been a guest speaker in the Pan Arab Radiology meeting in Tunisia in 2012 and in the Neuroscience Conference in the Sudan in 2014. Dr Sherlala is a regular Tutor in the Coventry FRCR course and his publications include Bilateral thalamic gliomas, Oligodendroglioma presenting with intradural metasteses and other publications
