Practical Session (Thursday, February, 25, 2016, 8:00 – 12:00 am):
The practical session will include the following tests/procedures:

  • Daily PET and CT QC procedures will be conducted on the GE PET/CT scanner Discovery 710.
  • A quarterly calibration will be followed by an SUV verification procedure.
  • In the show-and-tell part, the participants will be walked through step-by-step demonstration of the acceptance tests.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this workshop, attendees should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding for the daily quality of PET/CT's and its overall role and importance
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the quarterly calibration of the PET/CT scanner
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of the acceptance tests.
